Dr. Shandra Terrell Williams is an executive grant writer, educator, and strategic consultant with more than four decades of experience helping educational institutions, nonprofits, churches, and organizations strengthen outcomes, secure funding, and build sustainable systems for growth.

An Alabama native, Dr. Williams is known for her ability to identify organizational challenges, assess educational and operational gaps, and develop practical, results-oriented solutions. Her work combines strategic planning, instructional expertise, leadership development, and funding acquisition to help organizations move from vision to measurable impact.

She holds degrees from Wilmington College, Tuskegee University, and University of Minnesota Twin Cities. Her career has included service in higher education, K–12 schools, community-based programs, and correctional education settings.

Most recently, as an 8th grade English Language Arts teacher, she increased the percentage of students performing on or above grade level from 9% to 32% within one semester by meeting students where they were academically and combining differentiated instruction with foundational literacy strategies emphasizing comprehension, written analysis, and skill mastery. 

Today, Dr. Williams provides consulting services nationwide, supporting clients in strategic planning, grant development, educational improvement, leadership coaching, and organizational transformation. Her reputation for excellence, discretion, and measurable results has allowed much of her work to grow through referrals and long-standing professional relationships.

At the center of her work is a commitment to service. Throughout her career, Dr. Williams has dedicated significant time to pro bono and reduced-cost consulting for nonprofit organizations and churches serving historically underserved communities.
