Chief Executive Consultant
Dr. Shandra Terrell Williams is a professional grant writer, educator, and K–12th grade school consultant. She has more than 40 years of experience working with colleges and universities, schools, nonprofit organizations, churches, and community groups. She helps organizations strengthen their programs, meet grant requirements, and secure funding.

Dr. Williams earned a bachelor’s degree from Wilmington College, a master’s degree from Tuskegee University, and a Ph.D. from the University of Minnesota Twin Cities.
Most recently, she taught eighth-grade English Language Arts. In one semester, she increased the percentage of students performing at or above grade level from 9% to 32%. She achieved this growth by strengthening students’ reading comprehension and requiring them to complete writing assignments by hand.
Dr. Williams now serves as the Chief Executive Consultant for the REAL Impact Group. She provides consulting services nationwide. She supports parents seeking English Language Arts tutoring for their children who are performing below grade level. She also helps school principals build systems to improve student performance on standardized tests. In addition, she works with school districts on strategic planning, leadership development, and organizational improvement to improve standardized test scores.
At the center of her work is a commitment to service. Throughout her career, Dr. Williams has dedicated significant time to pro bono and reduced-cost consulting for nonprofit organizations and churches serving historically underserved communities.
